from over

The fight to free Illinois from gun violence continues, and there is real momentum and hope for change. We commend the lawmakers who passed eight policies to reform and enforce gun laws. These measures will make it more difficult for dangerous individuals to obtain firearms, protect children and at-risk individuals from accessing firearms in their homes, and expand enforcement and accountability to ensure these laws are upheld.

These crucial and long-overdue safeguards offer vital protection and peace of mind for our children, families, and communities. By ensuring individuals have access to accurate information and effective support systems, we can keep our communities more informed, more connected, and ultimately safer.
